We are very pleased to announce that the Pole Barn is finish. The Pole Barn has been built in order for Proper Job to comply with planning which was enforced by The Dartmoor National Park. Not only does it help our cabins to blend in to the beautiful Dartmoor landscape it creates protection from the wind and rain. The barn covers the Book Store, Arthur and Marthas Clothes Store, Textiles, and Crafts.

Christmas shopping at Proper Job. Yesterday was Small Bussiness Saturday and Alex came to get her stocking fillers from Proper Job with the £20 voucher she got from donating to our crowd funding campaign. She got all of this for under £20! Not only did she saved money she is helping to save the environment and is supporting a small local business.

According to Manager Alison Sallis, Proper Job has gone from strength to strength: “Last year we sold 57.6 tons of compost; reused 16 tons of reusable item like sofas, wardrobes etc; recycled 18.7 tons cardboard/metal, glass, textiles etc. Not to mention all of the tools, materials, clothes, textiles, bric a brac, paint and toys we sell through the shop.....
