Re: planning ref
0025/12 Proper Job
To whom it may concern,
I am writing to support Proper Job’s planning application
and do not think DNPA should restrict reuse sales at Proper Job’s site. I would
like local reuse facilities at Proper Job to take my reusable items for bring
and buy purposes because it:
- makes
Chagford a better, happier, more fun and
healthier community place to live! - provides
community benefit - reduces
waste, landfill, transportation, packaging etc - supports
local sustainable development - provides
local jobs, training and volunteering opportunities. - keeps
value in the local economy - provides
local services and facilities that are not available elsewhere - provides
benefit to low income households and disadvantaged people as low cost items are
available - local
facilities are available to people who do not have cars - reuse
saves all the embodied energy of resources, transportation and energy to make
an equivalent new product and thus helps tackle climate change.
Yours sincerely,
