We now have our gorgeous new Tali menu available on Friday and Saturday lunchtime. A platefull of indian delicacies to share or have all to yourself. Everything is made fresh here at the Courtyard, mostly from local and seasonal ingredients. Obviously the spices are neither but they help make fantastic Chapatis, two curries, dahl, different pickles and spiced pickled veg. I tried it myself this Saturday and it was delicious!
On the cake front we have expanded our range of wheat free and vegan cakes, there is always a choice for those with diet limitations - from lovely filling Banana Chocolate Cake to Spicy Ginger Cake and plenty of others in between. We also have an exciting new range of cupcakes in different flavours. This week we have Chocolate with Mocca Icing, Vanilla with Lemon icing and the 'Bollywood' which is a vanilla cup cake with almond and cardamon icing and ginger sprinkles.
Our pies have recently changed and we now offer Clives Pies - which means that along with a fabulous range of flavours there is once again something more for the wheat free diet. (We can now offer almost all our menu in a wheat free version.) These go alongside our usual menu which includes two soups every day (made from fresh, local, seasonal ingredients) and fresh baked bread and perennial favourites such as Hummous, Pitta Breads and Leaves, or the simpler things like an egg or beans on toast. (That toast will be our freshly baked organic bread - an exemplary example of what fresh bread really ought to taste like!)
