Join Proper Job at Okehampton Library for a visible textile repair workshop celebrating Green Libraries Week.
Visible mending is an ornamental approach to repairing material items. Susan from Proper Job will show you techniques such as Sashiko and embroidery to repair and to highlight imperfections in a creative, eye-catching way!
The workshop takes place on Monday 7th October, 10am-12pm at Okehampton Library, 4 North Street, Okehampton. Please bring along an item that requires repair or just some remnant material that you can experiment with techniques on. All other equipment will be provided. No previous experience is necessary.
