Join naturalist and broadcaster Nick Baker down at the Proper Job Resource Centre and make a home for our feathered friends.

Our bird box making workshop will take place on Saturday 13th April, book a place and learn how to make a bird box using reclaimed materials to take home with you. Using a basic pattern you will learn how to construct the house and then decorate and adorn it as you wish.

Birds play a very important part in our ecosystems and Devon is particularly important to our birds, and home to many rarer species. Under Nick’s expert guidance learn where best to place your box, what species of bird you can expect to attract and information on bird feeding, therefore helping to protect wildlife and benefitting the environment.

The workshop is open to all ages but please be aware that basic tools will be used and under 12s must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear sturdy footwear and sensible clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty.

The workshop costs £10+ booking fee, please click on ‘Get Tickets’ to book your place.
