Leather Purse making workshop with Green Shoes
Proper Job are collaborating with the ethical shoe makers Green Shoes of Moretonhampstead once again to host the very popular leather purse making workshop. Participants will learn to sew their own beautiful purse using the off cuts of leather from shoe making that would otherwise have gone to waste. Vegan leather is also available.
The workshop will be held at Green Shoes, 26A Cross Street, Moretonhampstead on Saturday 16th November. The workshop lasts an hour, and there are two sessions available 10.30am-11.30am or 12-1pm. Please arrive 5 minutes before the start of the session to allow for a prompt start.
Attendees will learn basic leatherwork and transferable sewing skills whilst creating something truly unique. The workshop costs £10+ booking fee and is suitable for anyone age 6+. Please note that children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
The objectives of the Proper Job Resource Centre are the protection and preservation of the environment by the promotion of waste reduction, re-use and recycling and advancing education of the general public about all aspects of waste generation, waste management and waste recycling.
