Nicola Peel is a Solutionist who has spent over 20 years working in the Ecuadorean Amazon initiating a number of projects. This talk will discuss what we can learn from the indigenous people to help us thrive in our own communities. She is also the co-founder of the South East Climate Alliance, a coalition of 120 social, environmental and faith based organisations working with councils on climate and ecological solutions.
Nicola also inspired the successful Bright New Futures Roadshow which uses music, creativity and an upcycled milk float to inspire action. She will also touch on Biomimicry and how the intelligent designs in nature can shape the future.
The talk will take place upstairs in The Globe Inn, Chagford at 7.30pm. There will be live music by local musicians prior to the event from 6-7pm, so why not come along before, the bar will be open for drinks and there will be plenty of time for questions and answers after the talk.
